How did you get into printing?
I joined Norprint LTD in the UK at the age of 16.
What do you like most about your job?
It’s not boring and the people are great.
What is the worst thing about your job?
I tend to be on call 24 hours a day.
What would be your dream job?
I think working in Dubai for Workz is pretty close to it.
What was the best deal you pulled off?
I’m a production guy so I don’t tend to get involved in deals but I‘d like to think I have helped develop some pretty cool products over the years.
Whom do you admire in print?
I have had the privilege of working alongside some very clever people to whom I owe a great deal.
What do you like about living in this region?
It’s safe, well organized and I’ve never had to cancel a BBQ because of the weather.
What is your favorite phrase or saying?
It is better to keep your mouth closed and appear to be a fool than to open your mouth and confirm it.
What is your favourite film?
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. We watch it every year.
If you could change anything in the world, what would it be?
How do you answer this one without it sounding like a cliché?
Which superpower would you like to have?
China? It would be pretty cool to fly like superman.
If you could invite anyone to a party, who would they be?
Tim Berners-Lee the inventor of the internet. There can’t be many people who are living that have had a greater impact on the world.
Where would you go if you could time-travel?
Back to the start of the world cup and bet a large amount on Brazil being beaten 7-1 by Germany.
What is your greatest fear?
What is your greatest luxury?
I have an Earl Marsh classical guitar. It’s fabulous!
What is your most embarrassing moment?
Berating someone who had not turned up for an appointment to be told that his father had died.
How would you like to be remembered?
I would just like to be remembered.
