Why Workz is growing

eSIM provider's MD of Americas on the growth of the company in 2018

I hope you’ve had a great start to 2019. I just wanted to touch base with you to give you a quick update on how we’ve been doing of late and our future plans.

We’ve had an exciting 2018, delivering over 1.6 billion products to 100 clients in 60 countries. We became the only GSMA-certified eSIM manufacturer and provisioning manager in the Middle East and Africa and are one of only six accredited providers in the world. We were also recognised as a world top 10 SIM card manufacturer and, for the third year running, the world’s largest scratch card manufacturer*.

We announced some key IoT partnerships to enhance our eSIM offering too. On the consumer side, we collaborated with Truphone to offer a highly cost-efficient and fast-to-market remote eSIM provisioning solution allowing network operators to capitalise on the high-ARPU eSIM market. Our first project was successfully launched with Europe’s MTX Connect.

Whilst on the M2M side, we’ve been working with ARM to provide a comprehensive M2M SIM solution from chip production, OS, and remote management services. One of our most recent projects completed in this space was an African government smart meter project.

In addition, we set up our new HQ in Dublin, acquiring Europe’s Elatec Card and Security Solutions and opening two offices in Africa. With over 400 staff across six offices globally and two SAS-certified production facilities, we offer global strength with a local service.

As for 2019, we aim to continually invest in our offering to support your future growth and development with more secure and future-proof solutions. We are probably stronger now than we have ever been but realise this is because of our continued partnership. If there is anything we can do to support you further or any feedback you have for us, please do not hesitate to get in touch as I would love to hear from you.

We appreciate your continuing partnership and hope 2019 will be a prosperous year for all.
