Workz recognised as world leader in IoT

Dubai company identified as market leader in eSIM and telecom cards

Workz Group has been declared as one of the world’s leading providers in the mobile IoT sector according to several new industry reports. The acknowledgements include Counterpoint Research who ranked the Dubai-based company as one of the top five leaders in eSIM, and the Nilson Report that recognised Workz as the number one producer of telecom cards.

Mobile sector specialist, Counterpoint’s report on the eSIM market assessed providers of the next-generation SIM technology against eight parameters including security, compliance, technology and customer base. The report identified Workz as one of the top five over-the-air subscription managers of embedded SIMs as well as a top six producer of its hardware. The accolade is seen as a result of the company’s long-term investment in emerging technologies which includes facility upgrades and a range of security certifications, making it one of only six providers in the world to be fully accredited by the GSMA for the production and management of eSIMs across all sectors. Last September, Workz launched the first-ever ‘hybrid’ platform for consumer and M2M eSIM devices enabling service providers to simplify over-the-air management with a single solution, and an entitlement server to activate mobile subscriptions for companion devices with the embedded SIM technology.

Workz has risen up in their completeness, partnership, platform capabilities and geo reach to become one of the top players globally.
Neil Shah, Vice President at Counterpoint

Workz Group was also identified as the world’s largest manufacturer of SIM and prepaid telecom cards by secure mobile and payments auditor, the Nilson Report. The telecoms company was founded in 1997 and has seven offices in five continents providing secure connectivity hardware and software solutions to over 130 clients across 70 countries.

Being recognised as a market leader by industry commentators is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team. Although last year was tougher than most, we’ve continued to evolve, further challenging the traditional legacy players in the industry by persistently developing highly competitive new virtual solutions that our clients can quickly and easily roll out to their customers.
