Tech copywriter


Workz is pleased to announce that it is recruiting for a B2B tech copywriter. The objective of this role is to develop written output for the marketing team.

Workz is looking for a highly competent native English copywriter who has experience in B2B technical writing. The individual needs to have a flair for technical writing (preferably telecoms) and B2B marketing.  This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of Workz and really make a difference to its product marketing of IoT technologies. 

You will need to be able to learn quickly and develop (on-the-job) strong knowledge of complex subjects (e.g. technology-related) and be able to engagingly and persuasively explain them simply and logically to a B2B audience.

Key responsibilities


  • Establish Workz as industry thought leader by writing both informative, journalistic style content to educate readers on the market technology developments.
  • Executions include blogs, articles, whitepapers, market reports, product sheets, videos, and other presentation material.
  • Ensuring all written communication and documentation sent is of the highest standard (meticulous punctuation and grammar) and in line with company guidelines.
  • Where necessary, ensure alignment of content with company’s SEO activities.

Market insight

  • Establish and continually develop advanced industry knowledge by conducting regular research on relevant industry news, market reports, and developments to produce insightful, knowledgeable content.
  • Utilise strong knowledge and understanding of customers, products, technology, and industry to produce insightful content of value to readers.
  • Understand applicable technology and products at a basic technical level to communicate functions and benefits.


  • Work with internal subject matter expects to identify customer needs, product features and benefits of products.
  • Liaise with designers to develop visualisations to support materials.
  • Special projects, other tasks and responsibilities as required


Minimum Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of copywriting experience.  Must have writing portfolio with minimum of six (6) long-form (400 words plus) examples ideally for B2B tech sector

  • Graduate in Marketing, Communications or other writing fields such as English, Journalism, Publishing, etc.
