COVID-19 update: Our response and operations

During the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, Workz continues to operate as usual without any disruption providing our full range of products and services. This means we have maintained regular production of eSIMs, SIM and scratch cards as well as full technical services to support our clients’ continued business.   

Business continuity 

We have adopted a stringent business contingency planning model which has enabled us to safely continue full operations during this time.  

Teams: We have implemented several precautionary measures to protect our teams, their families, and our customers including increased sanitation of facilities, working from home, social distancing and other preventative practices, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and health monitoring for all staff as well as temperature checks each time they enter a facility. We have also postponed all business and personal travel including visiting clients. 

Systems: Our IT infrastructure, supported by secure cloud systems, has facilitated a smooth migration to working from home for our office-based staff. 

Supply chain: We have increased inventory levels and are in regular dialogue with our suppliers to ensure there is no future disruption to our supply chain. The strength of Dubai as a transportation hub, which serves as a key logistics base for many including the World Health Organisation (WHO), has enabled our continued freight operations. We also remain in regular contact with supporting governments for updates and advice. 

Our thoughts are with those affected by this pandemic and the heroic front-line workers caring for them. We recognise the situation is fluid and continue to respond and adapt to the situation with health and safety as our number one priority.
