Dubai-based mobile solutions provider recognised as No. 1 by the Nilson Report.
Workz Group, the mobile product and solutions, and serialized software specialists are pleased to announce that they have been ranked as the number one scratch card manufacturer in the world by the Nilson Report, having shipped nearly 1 billion prepaid phone cards. Workz is also the 13th largest manufacturer of mobile SIM cards globally.
The Nilson Report, a trusted source of news for the card and payment industry, audits top card and mobile manufacturers in the world. The report is derived based on the 976 million scratch card products produced and delivered to over 60 mobile network operators in more than 40 countries across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. The report also serves to recognise Workz as the 13th biggest manufacturer of SIM cards with nearly 40 million cards produced annually.
Workz has also been instrumental in advancements in scratch card technology which requires high-security due to the product’s financial value. The company has made multiple investments in its scratch card facility which hosts a 40-metre, custom-built web-based press that converts raw paper into a finished product within 90 seconds and a research and development laboratory for product development testing. The printing press uses in-line camera verification systems to automatically track and verify all product data. This high-tech process delivers high-capacity print volumes at cost-efficient prices with minimal error rates.
It’s great to be recognised as the world’s largest scratch card producer. In recent years, we have made significant investments in our new manufacturing facilities and developed new and efficient products like Macwhite 2.0. We believe in offering mobile network operators the highest quality products on the market. Nevertheless, this wouldn’t have been possible without a strong and highly-dedicated team whose principle goal is to provide the best quality scratch cards, SIM cards and packaging on the market. It’s also a testament to the strong partnerships we have with our clients which has enabled us to work closely together to continually improve and develop our offering. We recognise the tough market conditions our clients are operating in, and our goal is simply to offer the lowest cost, best quality solution and add value wherever possible.
